It never fails every time New York Fashion Week approaches, I wish I was there. Maybe I will add that to my bucket list! St. Louis also has fashion week, so if you are a lover of fashion… well even if you are not.. you should check it out! I decided to attend the first event, which was the STL Fashion Week Kickoff Party and it turned out to be a good time. It started with a pre-party that included different vendors, appetizers and even a photo booth. If you are anything like me: photo booths make everything more fun. There was also a fashion show that featured Brands such as Express, Forever 21, Ann Taylor, and Altar’d State. All of which inspired me to look for the items at thrift stores to recreate the look.
I knew that this was definitely an event that I wanted to wear a full thrifted look. My goal was to show that you can still be “on trend” with thrifted items. I decided with the season change, it was the perfect opportunity for me to wear one of the many rompers I thrifted this summer. I paired it with my favorite booties and Voila… Thrift Fit!!
